General Program Information

The Graduate Diploma in Precision Health is part of a three-stage, laddered pathway consisting of:

1. program

2. Graduate Diploma in Precision Health

3. Master of Precision Health, Laddered Pathway

Each graduate credential in the laddered program is a course-based, 10-month program, with a scheduled break in July and August.


Program Delivery:

The credentials in the laddered pathway are part-time programs, and courses are offered by online learning. Students who do not enrol in courses continuously will be withdrawn from the program for failure to register unless they are on an approved leave of absence.

  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Precision Health program is not designed for students to complete more than one specialization at a time.


Laddered pathway from the Graduate Certificate to the Graduate Diploma to the Master of Precision Health

Students following the MPRH laddered pathway must apply at each stage; first, to the program, then to the Graduate Diploma and finally to the Master of Precision Health.

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate and who are subsequently accepted into the Graduate Diploma will be granted 12 units of laddering credit towards the Graduate Diploma. Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate and the Graduate Diploma and who are subsequently accepted into the Master of Precision Health program will be granted 24 units of laddering credit towards the Master of Precision Health (MPRH) Medicine, Laddered Program.

There can be no more than five years between completing a credential in the laddered pathway and enrolling in the next credential.

Students completing the laddered pathway will receive a parchment for each credential earned in the pathway.
