3.7 Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation - Graduation
Requirements
1. Successful completion of the approved program with a minimum overall grade point average of 2.00.
2. The 120 units required for graduation must all have been completed within 7 years of first enrolment for the degree to be awarded. For post-diploma students, the 60 units required for graduation must all have been completed within 7 years of first enrolment for the degree to be awarded. Exceptions require the approval of the Associate Dean.
3. A maximum of 18 units in the degree may be graded a "D" or "D+".
4. Students with CG grades in courses counting towards their BCR degree will not be eligible for consideration for convocation medals.
5. A maximum of 1 3-unit CG grade may be used towards degree requirements for the two-year, post-diploma BCR degree program.
Degrees "With Distinction"
The notation "With Distinction" will be inscribed on the permanent record and graduation parchment of any BCR student with a grade point averages of at least 3.60 over the last 60 units taken for the degree. Courses showing a CG grade are excluded from this calculation. Courses from other institutions as well as the University of Calgary can be used in this calculation.
